Eleventh November, Remembrance Sweatshirt Design
One morning a year gets the ceremony. The other three hundred and sixty-four get nothing at all, which is where this one comes in.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Love that I'm buying from a family-owned company. I wasn't disappointed. Outstanding quality and Service." (Martin B.)
Over 16,400 verified five-star reviews, and the two most common words in them are quality and service.
Plenty of sweatshirts at this price start bobbling after a few washes. Ours is 280gsm, an 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester blend, soft cotton-faced on the inside. Twin needle stitching at the seams, a taped neck so nothing rubs, and WRAP certified production behind it.

Eleventh November For Every Other Day
The date is fixed and everybody knows it, which is exactly the problem it sets up. Remembering is treated as an appointment, marked in the calendar, observed properly, and then filed away until next autumn. That is not how it works for anybody actually carrying something. It arrives on a Wednesday in March while you are looking for a parking space. It turns up at a wedding when a particular song plays. It appears on somebody's birthday, every year, without needing an announcement. Naming the date while quietly meaning every other day is the whole thought behind this one. Most people will read the eleventh and go no further, which is fine. The ones who know will read the second half without it being written down. That is why it works as a design worn in February rather than one taken out of a drawer once a year. At 280gsm it is warm enough to be worn constantly, which is entirely the point.
The Thinking Behind Remembrance Day
Some designs are for the parade and some are for the rest of the year, and confusing the two produces something that fails at both jobs. The formal versions are correct and serious and belong at a service. This one is built for everything around that, which means it has to be plain enough not to look odd at a supermarket in April. Getting that balance right means restraint, since anything ornate immediately becomes occasion clothing and stops being wearable the rest of the time. Nobody is being lectured either. The date states itself, and whatever the wearer brings to it stays with them. Being veteran-owned is why the emphasis fell on the ordinary days rather than the ceremony, because that is where the weight actually sits. It belongs with the wider Remembrance Day shirts range. No service record required.
Eleventh November That Gets It Right
Something intended for constant wear has to be built for constant wear, which is a harder test than looking correct once a year. Direct-to-garment printing bonds ink into the fibres rather than sitting a thick layer across the front, so the design survives being washed weekly instead of annually. That distinction matters enormously here. Typography stays plain and level for the same reason, since anything decorative turns it into occasion clothing. Jet Black runs the full size range to 5XL. Fire Red, Charcoal, Oxford Navy and Olive Green are all available, and the fabric weight is identical across every colour.
Eleventh November FAQ
What is this sweatshirt made from and how is it printed?
An 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester blend at 280gsm, warm and substantial for everyday winter wear. Printing is direct-to-garment, which survives frequent washing rather than cracking. Wash inside out at 30 degrees and it holds up to being worn weekly.
How does the sizing run on this sweatshirt?
Unisex sizing that follows standard UK sizing, so your normal size fits most people comfortably. Take one size up for a roomier everyday fit or to layer underneath. Chest measurements are listed in inches on the size chart for a quick check.
How quickly is it made and can names or dates be added?
Production takes 1 to 2 working days, then shipping runs 1 to 3 days depending on your address. Personalisation is not available, since the design is deliberately plain enough for everyday wear. Order ahead of November if you want it for a service.
Who is this design actually for?
Anyone who finds one morning a year is not really where the remembering happens. Suits people who want something wearable in March without it looking like occasion clothing. Right for parades, ordinary Tuesdays, and the birthdays that come round regardless.
