The return of HMS Hermes to Portsmouth Harbour on the 21st of July will be remembered not only by those who were on board (from all 3 Services), but also by the many thousands of friends, family, and people who supported the British Forces at the time.
The 'Never Forgotten' refers not only to the fallen, but also to the people who made such monumental sacrifices in other ways.
Despite the underlying feelings of sadness and loss, it was a truly great time to be in the Services, able for a short while to enjoy the pride and joy of a Hero's Return.
You do not have to be a Veteran to buy this mouse mat. Friends, family, and supporters, can have one to show their respect and support.
